Trying out Debian

I have been a Slackware user for years. I've never had much of a reason to switch distros.

Lately, though, I've gotten tired of doing it all myself. I have read posts, especially from Debian users, about how easy it is to upgrade packages and software.

So I gave Debian a try last night. So far I have been very impressed with aptitude and apt-get.
